"City firms are looking for candidates who can solve complex problems quickly.  Those able to process and derive insight from data in order to drive profitability are well-placed and can command high salaries, comments James Bennett, Global Managing Director of eFinanciaCareers.

City firms are also looking for techies who have experience in risk management. Risk management is about identifying and assessing risks and modeling what could be the impact on those risks under changing conditions. These skills have been in demand for quite a while now, and are likely to remain so in light of continued and increased financial reform, focus compliance and additional reporting requirements.
