Vlerick Masters in Financial Management now in Top 25 of the Financial Times ranking
Results of the FT ‘Masters in Finance 2013’ ranking

Vlerick Business School’s Masters in Financial Management programme has entered the Top 25 of the Financial Times ‘Masters in Finance’ ranking. The programme entered the global FT rankings last year in the 26th position, and is now able to move up in an increasingly competitive field. Vlerick is one of only 13 schools to improve their position in this global ranking.

Vlerick’s MFM programme has both a corporate and a market finance track and is CFA accredited. It also has an outstanding record in careers and placement, two important criteria that rose impressively in the 2013 ranking: the careers rank moved up to position 20 (from 25), and the placement success rank advanced to position 12 (up from 20). Currently, the programme has 49 students representing 10 different nationalities.

It is once again evident that Vlerick provides excellent value for money (13th position, up from 15th last year). The School is also raising its percentages of  female students and international faculty.

Wouter De Maeseneire, Vlerick Professor of Finance and the programme’s Director, comments: "We are pleased that the FT ranking has acknowledged the strength of our programme, as the market does appreciate the quality of our students. We indeed believe we provide a unique offering, focusing more on the broad aspects of financial management rather than purely on technical finance. We are continuously upgrading the programme and we are looking forward to future rankings.”
