Flexibility, diversity and practical application
at the heart of new Ashridge MBA

Ashridge Business School has redesigned its MBA, with a choice of start dates, a mix of full and part time students and extensive business involvement to meet the development needs of managers who want to flourish in global business.

The new programme, which will run for the first time in September 2012, can be joined in September for the two year Executive and one year Full Time programmes and in March for the Executive programme only. Students from both groups share classes, meaning they are able to work and learn in an international and professionally diverse environment.  

Drawing on Ashridge’s expertise as a leading provider of executive education, the curriculum is designed to provide students with a practical and integrated view of international management. It is based around four key themes – Leading Change, Creating Value, Embedding Sustainability and Managing Globally.

The programme has significant business involvement. A series of workshops hosted by business leaders and faculty, who have extensive business experience, are hosted at Ashridge and in London. The focus on practical assignments means that traditional exams do not play a major role in the assessment process. Students are assessed on a series of live professional assignments and a consultancy project which looks at a strategic issue for a host organisation – carried out either individually or as part of team. Students also have the option of carrying out an entrepreneurial start up project.
