Hill & Knowlton’s (H&K) Graduate Programme is now open and ready for applications. H&K’s Graduate Programme has been training graduates for over 14 years. The application process will run until midday Friday 28th October 2011 and successful candidates will start in January 2012.
This summer has been a turbulent one for young people with a string of dismal figures on graduate unemployment hitting the headlines. 979,000 16–24 year olds were reportedly classified as NEETs (not in employment, education or training) during the second quarter of 2011. H&K is an agency that fervently believes graduate recruitment is vital to the growth and development of the PR industry. With this positive attitude towards graduate employment, H&K is inviting articulate and creative communicators with a passion for PR to join our two-year intensive Graduate Programme.
The H&K Graduate Programme offers top training from The Hub – our internal training resource for the development of all H&K employees throughout their career. Graduates will gain valuable experience across several sector teams and work with a broad range of clients. By the end of the two-year programme, our graduates will be armed with a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience from one of the world’s leading PR agencies.
Chief Operating Officer, Damaris Anderson-Supple said of the 2011 Graduate Programme announcement, "In order for H&K London to retain its leading PR agency status within the UK, we must both seek new talent and maintain our commitment to the development of our people. Our commitment will see seventy per cent of H&K employees receive training in 2011. We are confident that the graduates applying for the scheme will add real value to the agency’s continuing growth and development”.
