Studying at HEC Paris

HEC Paris is the worldwide leader in Executive Education programs for senior managers and executives, according to results published in May 2011 by the Financial Times. Ranked #2 in 2010, HEC Paris’ Executive Education programs topped the list that includes leading institutions such as Harvard Business School and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for the first time this year. The prestigious distinction recognizes HEC Paris’ open-enrollment programs for individuals as well as custom programs for corporations.

Top marks across the board

The Financial Times’ Executive Education rankings are based on survey results that gauge participants’ and companies’ satisfaction. The criteria focus on the programs’ suitability, coherence, quality and value-for-money. In addition, faculty excellence, knowledge enhancement, skills development and learning methods are rigorously evaluated.

According to HEC Paris Dean Bernard Ramanantsoa, the reasons behind the ranking are clear: "Thanks to its strong links to the business world, HEC Paris has crafted an international executive education offer anchored in today’s world, combining academic rigor and the reality of current business demands. HEC Paris Executive Education, which celebrates the 80th anniversary of its Executive MBA this year, nurtures the creativity of senior managers and executives by helping them enhance their managerial knowledge and develop their professional skills.”

Excellent participation makes for excellent programs

Professor Bertrand Moingeon, HEC Paris Deputy Dean in charge of Executive Education and Academic Development, notes that participants and corporations played an important role in shaping these world-class programs.

"This achievement is, above all, that of our participants and partner companies. They have trusted us and have embraced the challenge to learn, as outlined by the HEC Paris motto ‘The more you know, the more you dare!’” he says. "For senior managers, this means taking a step back and reflecting on the way they do business. For companies, it means engaging in the joint design of innovative custom programs. A big thank-you and congratulations to our participants and partners!”
